ART

artist statement

Across mediums, I explore physical and metaphorical relationships between bodies, space, and nature. Greatly inspired and informed by my yoga practice, I depict the body on various scales of magnitude and abstraction. I blur the boundaries between art and science, body and nature, by utilizing medical and natural imagery to create works that encourage introspection on relationships with self and surroundings. I aim to highlight the beauty found in and paralleled by all beings, everywhere.
